2018 Maxwell Silver Hammer Shiraz

Inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. The nose is scented with juicy ripe plums, liquorice and blackberries followed by subtle vanillin cedar and spicy fennel notes. Medium to full in body with a plush mouthfeel the palate is swamped in rich dark plum, liquorice and blackberry fruits which overlay a back drop of spicy vanillin oak and traces of fennel. Velvet smooth tannins. Ample depth with a long succulent aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
