2018 Marchand & Burch Villages Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a distinct glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Nectarine and delicate white peach scents mix with hints of citrusy dried honey, biscuity oak and light spicy cashew. Mid weighted with a fresh feel but cream tinged finish, the palate is layered with ripe nectarine and white peach fruits which sit over a back drop of subtle honeyed roasted almond characters and citrusy nougat. Finishes dry with a refined medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
