2018 Main & Cherry Shiraz

Matured in French and American oak for 12 months. Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Showing ample intensity out of the glass are aromas of liquorice, black cherry and blackberry which are trailed by smoky cedar, earth and black pepper. Rich liquorice, ripe blackberry and black cherry fruits are backed by a muscular tannin structure. Toasty vanillin oak, earth and black pepper characters fading into the background. Long generous yet firmly built finish. Cellar 5-6 years. Alc. 14.5%
