2018 Louis Michel & Fils Chablis

Brilliant pale straw colour with distinct highlights of green around the outskirts and a watery hue. Fresh pear, lime and green apple aromas subtlety infused with fresh herbs are trailed by slate and flinty mineral. Energetic with searing intensity of flavour, the palate is decorated with pear and fresh lime fruits which meld into elements of green apple and slatey mineral characters. Dry crisp finish with racy acidity and a long lime, pear, citrus and slatey mineral aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.

Bright, fresh, peachy, flinty, and raring to go. Cool flavour, but good ripeness, brine and green olive, some savoury yoghourt sort of stuff in there too. Like this. Going glass to glass is effortless. Drink 2019-2026.
