Brilliant pale straw core with copper toned edges. Fragrant ripe pear, lychee and Turkish delight aromas intermingle with hints of musk and ginger. Mouthfilling flavours of ripe pear and lychees meld into infusions of musk, subtle ginger and spice. Rich and luscious yet finishes with a burst of fresh acidity. Good depth with a spicy medium to long aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.

Hand-picked, whole-bunch pressed, wild yeast ferment in a 1200l foudre and stainless steel. Australian pinot gris seldom displays complexity, but here you have it. Aromas range through rose water and poached pears, grape skin and ginger, a similar suite of flavours present on the long and textured palate. Juicy, slightly astringent acidity completes the finish. Drink by 2023.
