2018 Lano Langhe Lanot

A rustic Italian blend with a muscular feel and dry, savoury finish that has a distinct earthiness to it.

A blend of 70% Barbera and 30% Freisa sourced from 30 year old vines. Deep black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Blackberry, liquorice and black cherry aromas infused with leather fill the nostrils. Earth, tobacco and spicy dried herb notes ensue. Rustic dark to black cherry, liquorice, earth, leather, tobacco and spicy dried herb flavours are framed by chalky tannins and vibrant acidity which imparts a muscular feel. Dry, savoury finish with a distinct earthiness to it.
