Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Aromas of spicy blackcurrant, dried herbs and black olive are followed by graphite, cigar box and spice. Medium bodied flavours of blackcurrant infused with black olive and dried herbs sit over toasty cigar box like characters and spice. Fine grained yet quite sturdy tannins provide structure and firm up the finish. Concludes with medium length.
