2018 Lambrook Shiraz

Inky black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Ripe dark plum and liquorice scents rise from the glass with good intensity followed by smoked meat, black olive, spicy cedar and peppered dried herb notes. Scattered across the palate are generous liquorice, dark plum and black cherry fruits which are underscored by smoky cedar and dried meats with plenty of pepper and spice on the back half. Sturdily built tannins show some muscle, the aftertaste long and robust.
