2018 La Maschera Pinot Grigio

A consistently excellent Pinot Grigio, the juice for this wine was wild fermented on full solids in old oak, and mixed on lees to provide additional texture. This was then blended with another wild fermented parcel of Pinot Grigio to create a balanced, aromatic and textural wine.

Brilliant water like colour with greenish tinged edges. Fragrant pear and apple aromas laced with hints of rosewater and musk overlay light spicy citrus notes. Well rounded in the mouth the palate features pear and apple flavours over light infusions of musk finishing with plenty of spice and fresh acidity. Aftertaste of spicy pears, apples, subtle musk and citrus.
