2018 Knight Granite Hills Shiraz

From 47 year old vines with maturation taking place primarily in French oak hogsheads. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Pronounced blackberry and liquorice aromas mix with vanillin oak, earth, leather and pepper. Medium bodied flavours of blackberry and liquorice make a satiny entry with toasty vanillin oak, earth and blackpepper lying in the background. Polished in their feel the tannin structure has a sturdy underbelly. Peppery mid length conclusion.
