Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a red hue. Ripe cherry and dark raspberry scents mingle with liquorice, incense, earth and spice. Medium to full bodied with a fleshy mouthfeel the palate is blessed with rich dark plum, juicy dark cherry and liquorice fruits which meld with infusions of incense, scorched earth and spice. Polished tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Bright acidity concluding with a long succulent aftertaste.
