Midnight black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Filling the nostrils are ripe blackcurrant, liquorice and mulberry aromas which are complimented by cedary tobacco, black olive, bay leaf and spicy earth notes. Rich blackcurrant and liquorice fruits overlay a back drop of cedary tobacco characters, earthy black olive and infusions of bay leaf. Ripe chewy mouth feel with a firmly built tannin structure. Slightly grippy medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

Other Reviews....
Low yielding fruit, hand-picked. Shouldn't this be the norm rather than bragging rights at this price? Admittedly, the range of Cabernets at this address is like no other. The saturation of fruit, miraculously fidelitous to variety and place, is impressive. Blackcurrant and mulberry; anise and tapenade; sage and bouquet garni, barrage across the mouth, staining every pore. Powerful, sure. But not galumphing. Long and impressive for the idiom. Like eating wine, rather than drinking it. Drink by 2035.
