Matured in French oak hogsheads for 18 months. Dense inky black colour with a very deep dark red black hue. Intense dark plum and liquorice aromas fill the nostrils followed by some blackberry, vanillin cedar and subtle spicy fennel notes. Full in body, rich dark plum and liquorice fruits meld into vanillin cedar, infusions of fennel and spice. Lush mouthfeel finishing with a lick of blueberry freshness, velvety tannins and a long succulent aftertaste.
