Aged for 16 months in French oak. Dense midnight black dark red core with a dark red hue. Unfurling from the glass with great intensity are ripe blackcurrant aromas infused with mint which are trailed by some cedary tobacco notes, earth and spice. Medium to full in body rich blackcurrant and mulberry fruits laced with mint drive the palate. Vanillin cedar, earthy tobacco and spice characters ensue. Polished feel with fine grained tannins and a lengthy ripe yet balanced conclusion.
