Semi translucent bright red colour with black tinged edges and a light crimson red hue. Alluring aromas of violets, dark cherries and anise show terrific potency. Strawberry, forest floor and spicy cedar notes ensue. Light in body yet possessing superb drive, the palate is engulfed with ripe dark cherry and strawberry fruits which are matched to anise, vanillin cedar, forest floor and spicy dried herbs. Bright acidity and refined tannins provide structure. Concludes long and polished.
