Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Nosing reveals scents of black plum, dried cherries and liquorice followed by some earthy incense and spicy dried herb notes. Medium bodied with good flesh to the dark plum, ripe cherry and liquorice fruits, elements of earthy incense and spice follow on. Dryish finish with chewy tannins imparting some firmness on the medium length conclusion.
