2018 Kaesler WOMS Shiraz Cabernet

Matured in 60% new French oak for 19 months. Pitch black in colour with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Intense liquorice and ripe blackberry aromas mix with black cherry, subtle cedary tobacco notes, hints of earth and vanillin spice. Rich and plush, blackberry, liquorice and blackcurrant fruits meld into toasty vanillin cedar characters, dried herbs and spicy tobacco. Velvety tannins have a structured underbelly. Finishes medium to long with a sense of refinement.
