2018 Juniper Small Batch Tempranillo

Includes 5% Shiraz. Matured in a mix of 300 litre hogsheads and 500 litre puncheons for 15 months with no new oak. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Aromas of ripe dark cherries, liquorice and dark plum intermingle with light earth and spicy herb notes. Juicy dark cherry, plum and subtle liquorice fruits are backed by ripe chewy tannins with notions of vanillin cedar, earth and spice also apparent. Fresh acidity finishing with a firm dark fruited aftertaste.
Cellar 4-5 years.
