Totally opaque black dark red colour with a very dark red hue. Spicy dark plum and liquorice scents have a smoked meat and dried clove overlay with some subtlety earthed fennel and pepper notes following on. Delectable dark plum and liquorice flavours supplely caress the medium bodied palate with elements of bitter dark chocolate, dried clove, smoked meats, earth and pepper ensuing. Velvet smooth tannins and bright underlying acidity lead into a long finish that’s both savoury and complex.
