2018 John Duval Concilio Grenache Shiraz

A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Shiraz. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a bright dark red hue. Spicy dark raspberry and dark cherry aromas are trailed by some liquorice, earth, light vanilla and faint pepper. Juicy dark raspberry, dark cherry and red liquorice fruits swamp the mouth with underlying earth, vanillin spice and a dash of pepper. Fleshy mouthfeel with velvety yet sturdy tannins and bright acidity on the finish. Long and moreish aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
