2018 Joel Gott Zinfandel

Totally opaque black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated black and morello cherry, liquorice and black plum aromas are married to toasty vanillin oak and peppered dried herb notes. Medium to full in body with a plush mouthfeel, the palate is decorated with rich ripe morello cherry, liquorice and black plum fruits which overlay a toasty vanillin oak, cinnamon and peppered earth background. Polished yet sturdily built tannin structure with a succulent medium to long conclusion.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
