2018 Jansz Vintage Cuvee
A blend of 62% Chardonnay and 38% Pinot Noir aged for a minimum of 3 years on lees. A buoyant lacy white mousse slowly recedes to reveal a pale straw coloured base that’s finely threaded by a very persistent stream of bubbles. Pronounced oily baked bread, citrus, pear and yeast lees aromas fill the nostrils followed by some delicate roasted almond notes. Vividly sculptured by crisp acidity flavours of pear, baked bread and citrus overlay yeast lees and faint almond characters. Dry nervy finish.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
