2018 Ian Leamon Chardonnay

Matured in French oak barriques. Bright yellow straw colour with highlights of green around the edges and a watery hue. Intense ripe peach and honeycomb scents are married to notions of bacon fat, subtle crème brulee, nougat and spice. Rich with a round creamy textural feel, mouthfilling flavours of ripe peach, honeycomb and gently roasted cashew overlay some butterscotch and spicy nougat characters. Low acidity with a luscious medium length aftertaste.
Drink over the next 2-3 years.
