Matured in French oak casks, one third new for a period of 20 months. Semi translucent bright cherry red colour with a light red hue. Fragrant aromas of spicy red to dark cherries and winter strawberries intermix with rose petal like notes, scorched earth, hints of clove and spicy dried herbs. Light in body, delicious fresh red fruits fill the mouth with an undercurrent of forest floor, infusions of fresh herbs and delicate spicy cedar. Vibrant finish with bright acidity, beautifully refined tannins and a long aftertaste infused with freshness.
