Aged in French oak for 10 months. Translucent cherry red colour with a very light red hue. Spicy red cherry aromas intermix with dried herbs, game, forest floor and stalk. Bright dark cherry and winter strawberry fruits show some spice with notions of dried herbs, forest floor and stalk also present. Slightly tangy acidity with fine grained tannins and an elegant medium length aftertaste.
