2018 Helm Premium Riesling

Brilliant water like colour with a distinctive glimmer of green around the edges. Elevated lime and lemon zest aromas merge into orange rind, subtle oily toast like notes, traces of dried honey and wet steel. Racy lime and lemon flavours are to the fore backed by steely acidity with light toast and flinty mineral infusions in the background. Dry crisp finish with a steely aftertaste.

Made in the new winery with all of its whizz bang pieces of equipment. This is a dry as its Classic Dry sibling (what's in a name?), and has but one message: drink later on a 4:1 ratio. It has perfect balance of citrus, Granny Smith apple and a core of acidity you appreciate without shading the fruit. Drink by 2038.
