2018 Heggies Vineyard Single Block Reserve Chardonnay

Aged on lees in French oak barriques for 14 months. Brilliant very pale straw almost water like core with distinct highlights of green around the edges. Lifted pear, citrus and dried honey aromas are married to hints of bees wax, almond and faint gun flint. The elegant light to mid weighted palate has a restrained feel, featuring pear, nectarine and citrus flavours over subtle bees wax, almond and infusions of gun flint. Finishes dry with plenty of freshness to the slightly waxy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
