2018 Heathcote Winery The Origin Shiraz

Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Lifted ripe dark plum, blackcurrant and liquorice aromas are intermeshed with vanillin oak, hints of scorched earth and blackpepper. The full bodied palate is decorated with rich opulent dark plum and liquorice fruits which are carried by toasty vanillin oak, earth and spicy pepper characters. Sturdy yet polished tannins with a fleshy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
