Dense midnight black colour with a dark purple black tinged hue. Aromas of fresh dark plum, red liquorice and dark cherries overlay spicy vanillin cedar and mint. Medium to full in body, flavours of ripe plum and red liquorice subtlety laced with mint have an undercurrent of earth, spicy vanillin cedar and pepper. Slightly dryish but fine grained tannins with a juicy medium length aftertaste.
