2018 Grosset Polish Hill Riesling

Certified organic, Grosset’s Polish Hill is arguably Australia’s greatest Riesling. Brilliant very pale straw almost water like colour with a distinctive greenish tinge around the edges and a watery hue. Powerful lime and citrus aromas dominate the nose with hints of orange rind, wet steel, talc and flinty mineral following on. Intensely concentrated yet taut and tightly coiled, punchy flavours of lime and citrus are wrapped up in a steely, mineral infused framework. Elements of crunchy green apple are also present. Bone dry, slatey finish with crisp, mouth tingling acidity. Superb length with a long lime, citrus, green apple, wet steel and slatey mineral aftertaste.
