2018 Greenock Creek Apricot Block Shiraz

Dense black as night core with an equally deep dark red black hue. Heady aromatics of liquorice, black plum and black cherry waft from the glass trailed by smoky vanillin cedar, light apricot, fennel and pepper. Flooding the mouth are lavish morello and black cherry, liquorice and black plum fruits which are very opulent and plush in their feel. Smoky vanillin oak, fennel and spicy honeysuckle like characters ensue. Well integrated, velvety tannins. Great power and depth finishing long, sumptuous and silky.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
