Superb inky black colour with a very deep dark purple black hue. Pronounced liquorice and blackberry aromas mix with dark plum, spicy vanillin cedar, a hint of earth and pepper. Rich, juicy blackberry and liquorice fruits swamp the mouth over a back drop of lightly toasted vanillin oak, a touch of inky earth and spice. Plush and concentrated the velvety tannins have a sturdy underbelly. Excellent power finishing with a long liquorice driven aftertaste that also sees some blackpepper elements emerge.
