Matured in French oak barriques for 18 months. Opaque dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Ripe blackcurrant and dark chocolate aromas show good lift with vanillin cedar, earth and spice notes also evident. Plump and soft, the mid weighted palate displays expressive dark to black currant fruits over chocolatey vanillin cedar, earth and spice. Polished tannins with a lingering chocolatey vanillin oak aftertaste.
