2018 Gibson Isabelle Cabernet Merlot

Matured for 20 months in French oak. Totally opaque black dark red core with a deep dark red black tinged hue. Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, plum and liquorice meld into vanillin oak, tobacco, earth and spice. Medium to full in body with a soft plush texture the palate is decorated with rich blackcurrant, plum and liquorice fruits which overlay a background of vanillin cedar, subtle tobacco and spice. Velvet smooth, seamlessly integrated tannins with a long fleshy aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
