2018 Gate 20 Two Single Vineyard Pinot Noir

Matured in 25% new oak. Dark red in colour with black tinged edges and a light bright red hue. Spicy red to dark cherry, plum and strawberry scents mix with hints of anise, forest floor and dried herbs. Light in body but generous in flavour with dark cherry, plum and anise to the fore. Some dried meat, forest floor and spicy cedar characters lying underneath. Polished tannins with a slightly dryish finish and a long savoury aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
