2018 Fratin Brothers Vineyard Tempranillo

Opaque black dark red colour with a dark red hue. Spiced cherry and red liquorice aromas have a leather overlay with some earthy cedar and dried herbs in the background. Medium bodied and possessing a soft mouthfeel, the palate possesses a savoury old world flavour profile of ripe cherries, red liquorice, leather, dusty cedar and spicy dried herbs. Slightly dryish but refined tannins show polish. Concludes with a medium length aftertaste that has lingering dried herb and leather characters to it.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
