2018 Fox Creek Short Row Shiraz

Matured in predominately seasoned oak for 20 months. Magnificent saturated inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Potent liquorice, ripe blackberry and dark plum scents leap out of the glass with trailing notes of toasty vanillin oak, subtle dark chocolate, fennel and pepper. A big mouth full of flavour, the palate features rich blackberry, liquorice and dark plum fruits over toasty vanillin oak, fennel and blackpepper. Ripe fleshy texture with polished yet sturdy tannins. The peppery aftertaste finishing with a dash of freshness.
Drink over the next 5-6 years.
