2018 Fetherston Iris Chardonnay

Brilliant pale straw colour with a faint glimmer of green around the edges and a watery hue. Drifting out of the glass are nectarine, light lemon butter, hints of bees wax, subtle toast and spice. Generous ripe nectarine and dried honey flavours are very rounded in their feel as they move across the mid weighted palate. Citrus, light bees wax, toast and infusions of gun flint ensue. Finishes with a nicely balanced freshness and a long mouthfilling aftertaste.
Drink over the next 3-4 years.
