Aged in French oak, 35% new, this outstanding Cabernet features fabulous depth of colour, inky black at its heart with a very deep dark red black hue. Expressive blackcurrant and black olive scents blossom from the glass intermingling with ripe mulberry, cigar box, dried herbs and spice. Rich blackcurrant and cassis like flavours span the breadth of the palate with a peacocks tail like power wave. Elements of liquorice, mulberry, cigar box, black olive and spicy dried herbs then chime in making for a refined, complex finish. Beautiful depth of fruit and freshness with seamlessly integrated tannins giving the wine a polished feel. Concludes with a long, elegant aftertaste.
Cellar 10-15 years.
Alc. 13.5%

Other Reviews….
Deeply coloured. A superb cabernet that will be calling the shots for decades to come. Its richness is spectacular because it parallels the wine's power. Endless peaks of supple blackcurrant and cassis make light of the varietal tannins that can dog cabernet. The price rendered me speechless. Drink by 2048.
