Matured for 12 months in French oak barrels. Totally opaque dark purple black colour with a bright dark purple hue. Pronounced liquorice, freshly crushed dark cherry and dark plum aromas are interwoven with incense, dried herb and blackpepper notes. Rich, juicy flavours of liquorice and luscious dark cherries overlay toasty vanillin oak, earthy incense infusions and peppered herbs. Fresh youthful finish with velvety tannins and a juicy medium length aftertaste.
