Other Reviews....
Moderately firm reduction presently blocks an evaluation of the nose. Otherwise there is good intensity and salinity to the sleekly textured and beautifully well-detailed flavors that display excellent length on the firm, focused and youthfully austere finish. Patience strongly suggested.

Allen Meadows - Burghound

Aromas of ripe cherries and blackberries, complemented by notions of rose petals, violets and musky spices preface the 2018 Chambolle Musigny Clos de l'Orme, a medium to full-bodied, velvety and layered wine that's multidimensional, concentration and gourmand while remaining lively and beautifully defined. This is an exquisite Chambolle.

The 2018 Chambolle-Musigny Les Clos de l'Orme has a very intense nose compared to Cathiard’s other village cuvées, featuring black cherries, cassis and light blueberry aromas that are supremely well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with fine-grained tannins and wonderful bead of acidity. It tightens up toward the finish, indicative of a wine that is determined to give two decades of pleasure. Just a wonderful Chambolle-Musigny.
