The rich but sleekly textured medium-bodied flavors possess plenty of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm tannic spine on the minerally and powerful finish. Brisk bright purple, displaying a heady nose, with a bit of blackberry, but not lacking freshness. Intense up front but continues through to the back, some red raspberry in the mix, middleweight with a touch of elegance, which will please Confuron doubters.
