2018 Domaine Jean-Jacques Confuron Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru
Other Reviews....
Here too there is enough reduction at present to mask the underlying fruit so I would again recommend a thorough aeration if you're not planning to cellar this. Much more interesting are the much finer medium weight flavors that are at once lilting but serious, all wrapped in a compact finish that really tightens up as it sits on the palate. This is attractive in its fashion though I wouldn't describe it as especially Chambollesque. Drink from 2031+.

Mostly from Chatelots with a touch of Feusselottes, enough for 5 barrels in a good year. Intense purple with very primary fruit. Red and black fruit flavours are vying with each other, there is good acidity behind, with a little touch of reduction. Needs longer to integrate.
