Here too there is enough reduction present to warrant a thorough aeration. The more finely textured flavors possess better detail and mid-palate density, all wrapped in a stony and very firmly structured finish that flirts with rusticity. As the description suggests, this is somewhat awkward today though there is so much underlying material that this should ultimately come together. Drink from 2029+.

From several plots, notably Condemenes supported by Pas de Chat and Derrière le Four. Rich purple centre with lighter rim. Very slight reduction on the nose. This is a bit cooked fruit in style, but still remains enough freshness to survive. Succulent but perhaps not fine and on the edge of volatility.
