Other Reviews....
The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Les Folatières was showing well, wafting from the glass with aromas of pear, citrus oil, nutmeg and warm pastry, followed by a medium to full-bodied, racy and nicely defined palate that's long and intense.

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru contains around two-thirds young vines and one-third 20- to 30-year-old vines. It has a pleasant green apple and orange pith bouquet, although it lacks the penetration of the 2017 tasted a year earlier. The palate is taut and fresh, with citrus lemon and a lovely saline note that defines the final half. Not an overly complex Folatières, but it will give pleasure over the next decade, possibly more.

Neal Martin - Vinous

There is a whiff of the exotic in the form of pineapple wisps that combine with notes of acacia blossom and various white-fleshed fruit aromas. The lush and opulent yet relatively refined medium-bodied flavors possess slightly better mid-palate density, all wrapped in a youthfully austere but not quite as dry finale. This isn't classically styled but there's clearly more here.

Pale lemon, the nose is quite high class, and suggests some depth of fruit, the right weight on the palate, an attractive lime infused tang, good persistence, balanced and attractive.
