2018 Domaine D'Ourea Cotes du Rhone

A blend of 80% Syrah and 20% Grenache. Totally opaque black dark red colour with a bright dark red hue. Aromas of black cherry, black olive and liquorice are complimented by smoky earth, fresh provincial herbs and peppered meats. The vibrant medium bodied palate is filled with ripe dark cherry and liquorice fruits which are underpinned by black olive, scorched earth, dried meat and peppery herbs. Good freshness with refined yet solidly structured tannins leading into a deep savoury finish that’s quite Northern Rhone like.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.
