Other Reviews....
All but invisible wood sets off the essence of white peach, pear, spice and soft floral aromas. The medium weight flavors also possess a seductive mouthfeel thanks to the copious level of dry extract that buffers the moderately firm acidity shaping the caressing and generously proportioned finish. This is very Referts in style and a wine that should drink well young if that's your preference.

The 2018 Puligny-Montrachet Les Referts 1er Cru has a taut crisp and flinty bouquet with Granny Smith apples and a light sea spray element. The palate is well balanced with fine acidity, taut and fresh with a precise and nervous finish. I think this may well outflank the 2019 - let’s see.

Pale yellow. A soft nose showing a bit of lees character and some light barrel toast. Feels like there will be flesh to follow. This rounds out the palate very well with a certain crispness at the finish after a wealth of white stone and fresh pear fruit. Impressive length
