2018 De Bortoli The Estate Vineyard Chardonnay

Matured in used French oak casks. Bright pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. Lifted white peach, nectarine and dried honey scents intermesh with citrusy nougat and subtle gun flint. Mid weighted and possessing ample freshness, the elegant palate features nectarine and citrus fruits over subtle dried honey, light nougat and spice characters. Finishes dry with cleansing acidity and a delicate, refined aftertaste.
Drink over the next 1-2 years.
