Matured for 10 months in larger wooden casks. Deep dark red colour with black tinged edges and a dark red hue. Fragrant dark raspberry and ripe cherry aromas intermingle with liquorice, hints of earthy vanillin oak and spice. Succulent and spicy the mid weighted palate is endowed with rich dark raspberry, liquorice and dark cherry fruits which are underscored by subtle earth and vanillin confectionary characters. Plush mouthfeel with velvety tannins and a long juicy aftertaste.
