2018 Dandelion Vineyards Menagerie of the Barossa Grenache Shiraz Mataro

A blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Shiraz and 5% Mataro matured in old French oak barriques for 12 months. Deep dark red black colour with a dark red hue. Elevated dark raspberry, liquorice and plum aromas have an alluring appeal to them with subtle notions of scorched earth, provincial herbs and spice also evident. Sumptuous dark raspberry, dark plum and liquorice fruits flood the mouth and show tremendous concentration. Fleshy, plump texture with subtle scorched earth and spicy pepper characters lying underneath. Glossy tannins seamlessly integrate with the plush fruit. Outstanding power finishing long and decidedly delicious.
